Shek Tsai Wan Pier is situated in the southern part of Ma Wan in Tsuen Wan District. The pier is in close vicinity to Ma Wan Fish Culture Zone. At present, Shek Tsai Wan Pier is mainly used by fishermen.

Learn moreAfter leaving Shek Tsai Wan pier and walking for around 5 minutes, you will reach Fong Yuen Study Hall. Formerly named as “Chan Study Hall”, it was first built before the 1900s, and was rebuilt with Western influence and renamed as “Fong Yuen Study Hall” in the 1920s to 1930s. During the Japanese Occupation (1941-1945), the Japanese troops were stationed in Fong Yuen Study Hall temporarily. The study hall was reopened after the war and became the only surviving pre-war school on the island. It was rated a Grade 3 historic building in 2010.
In the south of Fong Yuen Study Hall, here comes the Heritage Centre in Ma Wan Park. It showcases the history of the island from the Neolithic era to the present and displays a Tang dynasty mud kiln and a Qing dynasty brick kiln.
Near Fong Yuen Study Hall and Heritage Centre in Ma Wan Park, there is a Tin Hau Temple in Ma Wan. It is a Grade 3 historic building. Two stone lions stand at the temple's entrance while an offering table dedicated to Tin Hau goddess lies inside the temple.
Situated in the southern part of Ma Wan, Noah's Ark Hong Kong Theme Park is the world's first and only full-scale Ark replica. Inside, there are various interactive learning and family-friendly recreational facilities.
