Walking from the pier for about 15 minutes, you can reach the grassland. There are various plants on the grassland. In the right season, you may even see a sea of silvergrass, making it a popular picnic spot in Hong Kong.
The Epiphany of Our Lord Chapel near the grassland was built in 1956. Missionaries once established a rural school here called "Public School”. It was rated a Grade 3 historic building on 8 September 2022.
