After disembarking from Pak Kok Pier on Lamma Island, you will come across the Sam Shan Kwok Wong Temple. "Sam Shan" refers to the mountains of Dushan, Mingshan, and Jinshan in present-day Raoping County. There are different folk beliefs regarding the exact identity of Sam Shan Kwok Wong, but they all share a common character that the deity originated from Chaozhou.
